About

Neon Rival is a collective of producers who live to make immersive stories for those who love to play and create role playing games. With high production value, meticulous world building, and committed players our collective is determined to bring out the best stories, introduce varied perspectives, and create a welcome introduction to the role playing community.

Neon Rival was founded by Aram Vartian, Carlos Luna, and Patrick O’Rourke in 2017. The three began as friends with a love of gaming, but we soon found that we had a shared goal.

To make it better, every time.

THE PARTY:

Patrick O'Rourke

Producer

Patrick has been a podcaster since 2010, and what started as a hobby that mostly involved beers and hanging out with friends has grown into a real life career in digital media. You can also hear him trying to convince his friend to like Star Trek as much as he does on Pat Trek. If he is not producing something, he is complaining about the new cards in Hearthstone or giving his dog too many hugs.

Carlos Luna

Producer

Carlos is an improviser and graphic designer from Chicago. When he’s not creating posters for theaters or backpacking in the middle of nowhere, you can find him at his long time running show SKULL MOUNTAIN where he improvises weekly with his two man group The Comet. You can also catch him soon on his new podcast Will & Ned’s Awesome RPG and read his insane posts on Real Letters To Imaginary People.

Aram Vartian

Producer

Aram Vartian is a multimedia creator who found his way into podcasting by writing, recording and editing the D&D actual play show, Godsfall. He recently moved to Chicago where he is writing a Godsfall Worldbook while working on production for a second podcast telling fictional stories as full audio dramas, Of Now And Then.
